2017 Youth Commonwealth Games, Bahamas

Working together over a four year cycle with the long term goal being set for the 2017 Games proved very successful for our junior rider, Rhys Pilley.

The work ethic, motivation and determination paid dividends for the young rider as he achieved an equal 4th position in the Time Trial and went on to place 8th in the Road Race. Both races were held in challenging weather conditions but we were prepared for this and had undertaken weeks of acclimatisation in readiness.

The forthcoming season has new goals set as moving into the under 23 age category, and racing with seniors, will provide a new set of challenges.

Racing for a French team and being based in France in 2018 will provide Rhys with some exciting opportunities.
